PASSAGE

Radiate

With all its might
The pilot light
Expands throughout
Eternal night

It waxes, wanes
Pleasures, pains
Pierces as
Momentum gains

It grows beyond
A movement spawned
Love in action
We now respond

These hearts we feed
Incinerate greed
And radiate
Until all are freed

Radiate
Radiate
Until all are freed

Inauguration Meditation

Thus begins
The exploration
We now know
It's time to go
In truth and honesty
With a joyful camaraderie
New seeds
We sow
Abolishing
The gallows
Bringing light to
The shadows
Celebrating the wins
Making penance for
The sins
Baptizing ourselves in
Hope once again

Frozen

Frozen and
Forlorn
No one
Is warm

First snow
Then
Denial
And sorrow

Suffering
And heartache
Time bends
Homes break

The grid
Is down
No one
Is around

Can we save
Ourselves now
From consumption
(The sacred cow)

Weather
Unrelenting
The Earth
Still venting

Her frustrations
Run high
Perhaps our
Eviction is nigh
